It's amazing : Bleating Moments

It's amazing

how quickly time goes. Our time in the South for the winter is almost over. We have really enjoyed this year staying in one spot and visiting the beaches as often as we can. My last trip I got a little too red!! The sunshine most every day and warmer temps are very re-juvinating at this time of year.

I have been busy getting some new samples made and the latest is a looped scarf from the premier issue of  "Knit Wear ". The knitting was easy but the grafting really took a long time. I finally wound up writing down every step for the 41sts I had on and just did it. Turned out great. The yarn I used was the new Cashmere/Possum/Merino yarn and it took 2 balls. It took me a long time to settle on a project for this yarn and I think I made a good choice.  I followed the largest size on the pattern and used a #9 needle and came out with their dimmensions even tho the yarn was a smaller gauge. Now, I am working on a lace shawl in a Fiber Trends Pattern and red 4ply(fingering) and a sweater jacket in the 8ply merino.

I am not doing as many shows this year so if you live in the Mid-West and want to see my booth, visit the web store and click on service, then locator. I have chosen not to do the Stitches show this year for many reasons. Please visit the web store and the full line of product will be back up by the 3rd week of April. Same product as the shows and very good service. You can pay for your order thru paypal ( you do not need to have a paypal account )or credit card.

Would love to hear how you like our yarns and tell us what projects you are working on.           Happy knitting.
