Stitches Midwest : Bleating Moments

Stitches Midwest

is just around the corner and I am frantically trying to get everything done. There will, I hope, be a few new products, but my dilemma is that while we were away, one box was sent to the wrong address and was therefore sent back to NZ. I hope I get it back in time as there is a new cashmere blend in it.  Also, another box of new yarn is sitting in customs now so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. In this box is a new yarn, an 8ply version of the Stansborough yarns in several colors. Can't wait to see this. We will also have more of the lace Stansborough. For those of you not familiar with this yarn, it is the same yarn they weave all the costumes for the Lord of the Ring and the Narnia movies with. The lace is not always available as when movies are in production, all the fiber goes into the costumes. It comes from a special breed of sheep that was reintroduced when these movies started. New also for this show is a new lighter weight mohair from Touch and comes in a kit, with 3 patterns for hats and fingerless gloves. New samples and some bone china tea cups made in England. Lots of goodies and more new samples. Make sure you stop by and check out the booth.
